Another special photo for me. This was taken at the Terminus Hotel in Abbotsford. This gig was for Sweet Felicia, who was laid up in hospital. Most of Melbournes Blues muso's turned out to raise money for her and the punters responded by digging deep. The gig started around 2.00pm and finished the next day

"Detonation..."
This photo signifies the strength of the Melbourne blues scene. It was taken at Heat 2 Of the Mbas Blues performer of the year competition 8th October 2007. The Detonators went into the final, but ended up coming 3rd. There was only a couple of points in it.

"Rockin Ronny"...
Anyone who has been around the blues scene in Melbourne will recognise Ron as Kerri Simpson's guitar man and more recently with Chris Wilson.

"Blowin' out the blues"...
April 2007 This was a Great Night.I was with my cousin Con and some of his friends. We went to see a gig at the Brunswick Town Hall. The show finished at about 11.00pm and I was itching for some real Aussie Blues. So, I made everyone follow me 100 metres down the road to the Cornish Arms Hotel, where Jim Conway's Big Wheel were playing. We walked in to a packed room, got a beer and fluked a table. Within a few minutes my guests were convinced that they were at the best gig they had seen in years. It's good to make people happy.
